Clear guidelines for stress-free, professional grooming sessions.

Canceling/ Rescheduling - 24 hour notice

If a client fails to provide any notice or fails to show up for an appointment, it puts us in a difficult position where we are unable to fill the opening. If this happens on several occasions a $50 deposit will be required to book future appointments. Therefore, we kindly ask that you notify us in advance if you are unable to make it. In the event of a no-call, no-show, the $50 deposit will be retained. In other cases, the deposit will be applied towards your scheduled grooming appointment.

Senior Dogs/ Aggressive Dogs

Special Handling Fee May Apply

Grooming of senior or frail pets is done at the owner's risk, please understand pet grooming can expose hidden medical problems or aggravate current problems. Signs of aggravation can occur during or after grooming. Senior pets and aggressive pets also have an increased risk of injury and/or stress while grooming. If it is not safe to groom your pet, we will have to stop and call the owner immediately to be picked up. We always will do everything possible to keep your pet comfortable!

Non-Spayed Females

Please note, we cannot groom your pet if she is in heat. We can reschedule after your female dog is at least two weeks out of her most recent heat. Shampooches does not accept females currently in season. Additional charge of $15 will be applied if occurrence in salon.

Fleas and Ticks

$10-$40

If we find your pet to be infested with fleas or ticks, it will be necessary to use a flea shampoo to rid your pet of the fleas or ticks. This will be an extra charge. You will be called to be informed if we find them on your pet. While your pet is at their appointment, we recommend cleaning up your home and your pet’s bedding to prevent fleas jumping on your pet when they come home.

Haircut Adjustments

If you are dissatisfied with your pet's haircut and would like some adjustments, please inform us as soon as possible. We kindly ask that you reach out within 48 hours after your appointment to address any concerns. Please note that depending on the nature of the adjustments, your pet may need to be washed and professionally blow-dried again, which may incur an additional appointment fee if we exceed the 48-hour timeframe. We are always happy to accommodate your preferences.
